Christmas at the Rothermich Cabin

After we finished opening gifts at our house we traveled out to the cabin. Grandpa John didn't realize that when he gave Aubrey a piece of ham that he would have a full time job on his hands the duration of our stay. As you can see in the pictures, he didn't seem to mind at all :)

I just happened to snap this while we were there.

Workin' Girl

We couldn't find Aubrey when we were getting ready to open gifts at our house Christmas morning. We eventually found her quietly working away on one of Tracen's semi's with a screwdriver. I guess it runs in the family!!

Monster Trucks

Tracen loved his monster trucks!! This is just 1 of 6! He couldn't wait to get home and build jumps for them.

During Christmas, there is always time for telling stories.

Minnie Mouse

This is the first gift that Aubrey opened. It was a christmas Minnie Mouse from the Disney Store. She gave it loves in between just about every gift that she opened. Thank you Papa Lawrence!

Christmas Fashion Show

Here are some pictures from my parents house. Notice that Jace is wearing a Bronco outfit....he loved it until....
He saw the Nuggets outfit. Sorry about the naked buns...that's just Jace. He was having a great time trying on his clothes and shoes.
Shae also managed to get his undies on. Needless to say we had a blast at my parents house. My mom and I almost laughed until we cried. Jace stole the show and it was awesome!!

Tracen in the Hat

Mom gave me this hat for school and Tracen just happened to find it. What a cutie! John and Aubrey also gave it a try. The kids loved it when John had it on. Tracen laughed so hard he fell on the ground!!

Squiggly

I really had to hurry in order to get this one! John's nickname for Aubrey is squiggly. She is up and then she is down. Always on the go!! A couple seconds later she was out of there.

Shark Tails

It is a bathtime routine that Tracen asks me to give Aubrey a shark tail. He laughs so hard....it never seems to get old. I love that in him!

Favorite Things

This is a picture of two of John's favorite things. His truck and his son. The other two are taking the picture and playing. John works so hard to provide for our family. He had just gotten done working on his truck to leave the next day. We cherish the time that we have together...he is our favorite thing too!!

Four Wheelin'

Aubrey loves riding Tracen's old four wheeler! We had a really hard time keeping the hat on though.

Davy Crockett gets tired too!!

Tracen didn't want to take a nap but little did he know that he was going to fall asleep just moments after I left his room....even with the hat on. I had to capture the moment!

Suprise party for the birthday girl!!!

This was our last gathering for the summer. We had a suprise birthday party for Shae and as you can see, the frog pool was a hit for the kids! You aren't going to catch us out there.

Baby #3

As many of you know (and some may not), John and I are expecting our third child around May 9th. I am feeling well and the baby seems to be doing very well also. Our ultrasound is the 22nd of December so I will also post information about the baby during the Christmas holiday.

I'm a little behind

Summer in the life of a teacher is wonderful. As you can see, I have not updated my blog since school started. I am now working at Polston Primary in Alamosa again and with a new job there are so many new things to learn. For all of you that check blogs on a weekly or daily basis...I wish I had that time. Life is so busy with two little ones!! Over Christmas, I will post pictures of many different things that happened since summer. Have a wonderful holiday season! Shauna and family
