Piggyback Rides $1

Just John and the kids having a great time together! I don't know how he does this but he is hauling around a good 90 lbs. That's hard work! At some point, he was even bucking them off. Ya, his back hurt the next day...but it was worth it! (sorry it's kinda blurry)

Aubrey is 2!

Wow, how time flies by! I feel like I just brought Aubrey home. Aubrey turned 2 on May 2nd. She is non stop all day long which definately keeps me on my toes...unless she is taking her nap! Thank goodness for those! :)

Okay, so there are two sets of birthday pictures. The first set is from her actual birthday (May 2nd) but because we had just gotten home from the hospital that afternoon, there was no way we could pull off her birthday party. My mom (god bless her) cooked supper and brought a small ice cream cake out to us. My dad came along also. :)
The next set of pictures were taken a week later. Aubrey loves Elmo so we found the closest thing to a girly Elmo and it was Abby Cadabby. Enjoy the pictures!
The birthday girl wasn't too happy in this one...she didn't want to wear her Abby Cadabby wings...she was much better when we took them off :)

Wheelbarrow Rides $2

John is a great daddy! On this particular evening, he decided to load the kids up in the wheelbarrow and take them for a ride to the log deck. The kids had so much fun!

Like Father, Like Son

This is a picture of John's new truck (and his other one also). It has been and still is a huge project. He is converting the black Pete into a self loading truck. John has Tracen convinced that the new truck is his and he is soooo excited! Tracen is actually the one that wanted me to take these pictures.

"Mom, Aubrey's stuck!"

The last snow storm that we had left our place a muddy mess! Tracen was building sand castle's in our back yard and Aubrey wanted to join him. As you can see in the pictures, she didn't make it very far. If you look closely, you can see her shoes still stuck in the mud. It was pretty funny!

Amazingly enough she did't fall over and get her white shirt dirty but she did reach down and touch the mud!

Addison Leigh Rothermich

Addison Leigh joined our family on May 1st at 4:42 a.m. She weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. Everyone has to ask, "Did Tracen and Aubrey have really dark hair like that?" The answer is yes. It lightens up as they get older.
Okay so here is the funny part. My sister-in-law and I were due on the same day (May 9th) and ended up in the hospital on the same day! Addison and Sydney would have the same birthday but I checked in about 12 hours after Shae and being that I tested positive for Group B Strep, I needed 8 hours of penicilin. That put me into the next day.
Everyone in our family is doing great. Aubrey and Tracen love their little sister. Tracen always wants to hold her and Aubrey is my human baby monitor and lets me know when she's crying by saying, "baby cying". She also tries to put the pacifier in her mouth. Aubrey thinks that when she has hers in her mouth that Addison needs one too. And John, he's just trying to figure out how he is going to fit three kids in his recliner!
